Think I’ve drawn enough for today

I had been wanting to try this one ever since I saw it at Miss P’s blog.

Tomorrow we have Cayden and Kenzie and also on Thursday so I’ll be putting my pencils away (unless they take good naps) for a few days.

Dancing with the Stars was 2 hours long so it gave me a chance to do this.

The only show I watch on TV other than news and late night shows, is now over. I have NO idea what I will be watching now.

I’m anxious for America’s Got Talent to start but I don’t know when that will be.

Do you have a favorite show?

I I know Cat’s Momma has lots of them.

KYLE PLAYING GUITAR

I’ve had fun going through Miss P’s photos. I wanted to try one of Kyle that I really liked.

Baby woke up so we are leaving for a walk.

Pencil and Corel.

CHRISTOPHER

Wanted to try a portrait of Christopher, Miss P’s grandson. I’m not happy with Kylie’s so I will try again later.

Every time I see one of his photos I knew that eventually I would draw him. He is the cutest kid!!

Haven’t decided yet whether I will color him in.

This morning I woke up early and went over and grabbed a photograph off her blog and while waiting for Cayden to get here, drew this out. It’s just pencil on cheap paper. I wish I would have used good materials.

Anyway here he is.

A-2-Z PROJECT "C"

ARTHUR “COVETS” THE “C”ANDY decorated CUP on the COPPER COUNTER…

I think I covered lots of C’s…lol..

Just got back from dinner and plan on a relaxing night catching up on blogs.

So, posting now for Monday.

Did this one while my sister was in town awhile back.

Pencil sketch, acrylic over pencil, 10 x 12 size.

tweaked in photoshop.

MY FIRST ATTEMPT

I first drew her in pencil, added a touch of color pencil, softened her and adjusted few things and wanted to try and get a sense of angelic realms however, don’t think I achieved this.

I may try her again in a different medium and different technique.

This was the challenge from Crusty’s board (see side link). This is Miss P’s granddaughter.

FUN WITH PENS AND PENCILS

Very rudimentary, I know….haha. But I wanted to do something to add to my “C” project. I finished the first one while Laura was here and I’ll post that later for Monday.

This is a C project which stands for Chair and Cozy Cabin. When I have the grandkids here, sometimes, I can just pick up paper and pen and scratch out a little drawing.

ARE THEY ALL LINED UP FOR A BATH…..

Or are they just enjoying watching Cayden.

Holly and Hannah …it would be a perfect picture if you two were here.

We had all three for awhile tonight. MacKenzie came for a visit. She heard Cayden was getting bathed in the sink and thought it would be funny to see this.

Cayden isn’t thrilled with his audience.

And that white thing in her mouth…she spit up….uh oh…I guess she didn’t like seeing a boy getting bathed in the same sink she gets her bath in. Kind of made her sick I guess… Cooties and all that stuff….

NOTICED I HAD A PEEK A BOO FOR MY "C" project

Look how weird a left hander holds the paint brush.

Hunt is left handed for sure now. Never knew which way he would end up.

Looks like possibly Cayden may be.

My son Joel is left handed.

I am the only left hander in my immediate family, meaning my dad, mom, sis and brother.

Are you right or left handed.

How do you feel about left handed people. We have always gotten such bad press….

ANOTHER CAYDEN DRAWING

I tried last week.
Posted by Picasa

Worked on this last week

But the whole drawing/painting is a lot bigger. I didn’t like it so cropped it down to just show this part. I did it in colored pencil and then softened it with picassa tools. I simply wanted to draw a mosaic picture frame but then I had to put something in it cause it was boring.

Hunt is here this weekend so didn’t get any drawing done but I’ve had fun chasing him around the yard playing hide and go seek.

CLOSE UP OF GAZING BALL

Just reposting this for whatever reason, mainly because I came across it again. Somehow, this is my yard through the gazing ball. I think I photographed a parallel reality or something cause this doesn’t look like my house or yard but yet I took it in the yard.

So somewhere in this photo, will be a nice relaxing Thanksgiving taking place.

Looks more like Paris or something.

One can wish.

See it’s my yard, there’s the bird seed at the bottom of the pic.

LOOK AT THE AIR TRAFFIC

WISHING YOU ALL A HAPPY THANKSGIVING

Don’t know if I will get on tomorrow so wanted to leave a greeting for you all.

I’ve been busy and haven’t done much art although I am working here and there on a project.

Enjoy your day tomorrow.

We will have a small get together (just family) which actually pleases me cause I like relaxing holidays without a lot of running around, cooking and cleaning. Actually I love the “ease” of it all, after having big holiday dinners when the kids were little.

Very nice

NOT SURE WHY but I like this

I was looking for “To the Left” on Youtube, a song I like a lot. But when I did a search this came up and I love the clarity, tonal quality, of the voice and it’s a short one too.
